Display only the Approved Blog Posts in the RSS feed in SharePoint
To display two most recently updated and Approved blog posts or announcements into your Custom WebPart,we will create a custom view in the posts list itself and filter it by the Approval status and then will use it in a Custom or Out-of-Box RSS Webpart.
The steps are :
1. Create a Public View in your Posts\Announcement list. Add a filter to show only the "Approved" items.
2. After, saving the View, re-open it and click on the Rss feed url.
3. Copy it and use it in your Rss feed webpart.
You can also add groups and item limit in the view itself.
