Having Documents Offline in SharePoint 2010
As, you may know, SharePoint Workspace (formerly Groove) provides the ability to take SharePoint documents and data offline, edit that content, and resynchronize it back to SharePoint at a later time.
To take the documents offline Goto the Document library and then goto Site Actions -> Sync To Computer.
Once you do this the SharePoint gives you an option to select what list\libraries to download. It will create a local copy of all the content that you will select to download. so, after synchronizing your SharePoint content to your computer, you can enjoy quick access to the same files from Windows Explorer. This makes it easier than ever to work with your files from a SharePoint site.
